Andalusia was the autonomous community where housing more mortgages were signed in November 2009 (latest available data): 9,030. By provinces, Malaga was the most prolific, with 2278. On the opposite end, stood Jaén, with only 327. They are polar opposites within the same region, so it may be curious to know how to live in one place and another.

To put the figures in their proper context we must analyze its population. In the province of Jaen live some 655,000 inhabitants. In Malaga, the figure is multiplied by more than two: 1.58 million.
